Services
Whether you need help with one document or full representation through your entire case, you choose the level of support that's right for you.
Not every divorce requires the same level of legal support, and you shouldn't have to pay for more than you need. At Berryhill Family Law, services are structured to give you real choices. You can start with à la carte help and add more support if your situation calls for it, or you can hand over the legal process entirely and let me manage it for you. Either way, divorce coaching is woven into every tier — because the emotional side of this process matters just as much as the legal one.
My approach in every case is to seek a fair settlement through negotiation and collaboration whenever possible. An amicable resolution protects your finances, your energy, and your future. When settlement isn't possible, I will advise on the best path forward — including coordinating with attorneys when your case calls for it.
What I Can Help With
Guidance through dissolution of marriage or legal separation — with a focus on reaching a fair agreement through negotiation whenever possible. I handle the legal details so you can focus on moving forward.
Get clear, focused, and confident before mediation. I help you organize your priorities, understand your options, and prepare to negotiate effectively for an amicable resolution.
Accurate, thorough preparation and filing of court documents — petitions, responses, motions, financial disclosures, parenting plans, separation agreements, and more.
Help establishing or modifying parental responsibilities and creating practical, child-focused parenting plans that support stability for your family.
Establishing, modifying, or enforcing child support orders. I help you understand how support is calculated and ensure your filings are accurate and complete.
Practical and emotional support to help you make clear-headed decisions, manage stress, and build a plan for your future. Available as part of legal services or as standalone coaching.
Smart Legal Spending
Licensed Legal Paraprofessionals typically charge about half the hourly rate of a family law attorney. That's not because the work is less thorough — it's because the LLP model is designed to be more focused and efficient.
With 25+ years of hands-on family law experience, I bring a depth of knowledge that keeps your case moving and your costs down. No learning curve. No unnecessary motions. No billing for research I've already done a hundred times.
Specific pricing depends on the complexity of your situation and the level of service you choose. We'll discuss all of this during your free consultation — no surprises.
Colorado's LLP program covers a wide range of family law matters, but there are certain complex issues — like contested common law marriage claims, trust valuation disputes, or pre/post-nuptial agreements — that require an attorney's involvement.
If a complex issue arises in your case, I'll tell you clearly and promptly. In most situations, I can continue to represent you on everything within the LLP scope while you bring in an attorney for the specific issue. Many clients find this tandem arrangement gives them the best of both worlds: focused, affordable representation for the majority of their case, with attorney expertise available when needed.
Transparency about scope is not a limitation — it's a sign of professionalism. I'll always be upfront about what I can and can't handle.
Service Area
As a Colorado LLP, my legal services — representation, court appearances, and document preparation — are available throughout the state of Colorado. I primarily serve clients in the Denver metro area, Boulder, and the Front Range corridor from Fort Collins to Colorado Springs.
Divorce coaching services are available to anyone in the United States (sessions conducted in English). If you're going through a divorce anywhere in the country and need practical and emotional support, I can help — even if your legal representation is handled by someone else locally.
