Why Berryhill Family Law
Most divorce professionals offer either legal help or emotional support. Jennifer does both. As a Licensed Legal Paraprofessional and a Certified Divorce Coach, she brings a rare combination of legal knowledge and compassionate guidance to every client — with a focus on reaching fair agreements whenever possible.
With more than two decades as a senior paralegal in Colorado family law, Jennifer has worked on hundreds of cases. She understands not just the legal process, but the human one — and she knows that the best outcomes usually come from collaboration, not conflict.
Whether you need someone to prepare and file your documents, coach you through difficult decisions, or guide your case from start to finish — Jennifer meets you where you are.
MORE ABOUT JENNIFERI aim to resolve your case through negotiation and agreement whenever possible — protecting your interests while avoiding unnecessary conflict and cost. If your case requires more, I'll be straightforward about your options and help you choose the right path forward.
Divorce isn't just paperwork. Jennifer integrates practical coaching into her legal services to help you make clear-headed decisions during an emotional time.
From à la carte document help to full case management, you choose the level of support that fits your situation and your budget.
You Are Not Alone
If you're thinking about divorce after 50, you're in good company. More adults than ever are choosing to move forward into a healthier, more fulfilling chapter.
After decades of partnership, choosing a different future can feel overwhelming. With the right guidance, it can also be the beginning of a calmer, more intentional life.
A Smarter Way to Get Legal Help
Colorado's LLP program was created by the Colorado Supreme Court to expand access to qualified legal representation in family law. LLPs are licensed, regulated, and authorized to practice — they're not paralegals, and they're not attorneys. They're a new category of legal professional designed to bridge the gap.
LLPs can advise clients, prepare and file court documents, negotiate on your behalf, and represent you in mediation. And because LLPs focus exclusively on family law, their rates are typically about half of what attorneys charge.

Client Experiences
I first became acquainted with Jennifer when she worked at another law firm, as a paralegal representing the opposing side in a family law case. Even in that context, I was impressed by her professionalism, attention to detail, and the quality of her work product. She handles her cases with care and precision.— Colorado Attorney
